Taking backup of TP 070 application.

1. Connect the TP 070 and PC using the MPI cable.
2. Open the Touch panel software in the PC.
3. There is an option called Upload (an arrow button on the tool bar). click on it.
4. the application in the Touch panel will be uploaded to the pc... Save it... that's all.

the available software cannot extract an application from the TP070 you need the source code. if you have the source code then save as ;-)

Sorry if I misled you,_my_ software TP DESIGNER v1.0.0.25 has no upload button. Which software are you using?

BTW the code transferred is compiled so i assume that the uploaded code would not be editable, is this right?

Someone know something about a card slot in the tp070??

Thanks

The TP070 is a touch panel specially designed for the S7-200. The card slot has nothing behind it, sorry. if you need extra features look at the TP170 micro.
