Surplus Controls Equipment
Information resources, documentation. topic
Posted by Randy DeMars on 2 July, 2001 - 2:01 pm
As a custom machine builder, we have accumulated a great deal of surplus
control equipment (PLC cards, AC VS drives, various sensors, etc.) We need
to clean house. Have any of you dealt with a company that buys this sort of
thing?

Actually I know of a few...

MR Bearing Surplus
www.mrbearing.com

Sterling Services
1-800-280-4602
Sterling does sales/repair, so they might.

Symax Exchange
www.symaxexchange.com

Hope that helps... Of course there's always Ebay...

Try www.surplus2supply.com

They don't buy surplus equipment, but they will post yours for you, kind of like ebay.

I think there was a post in the archives about a company willing
to buy and sell old equipment, I don't really know what to search
for but I still recomend you do a search.

Actually, ebay is a great place to get rid of it. If you're absolutly not willing to mess with the details of auctioning it yourself then just connect up with a couple of the outfits which have multiple auctions going on and I'm sure they'll make you an offer.

Would you have any list you could send me?
I might be interested in your stock.
Please advise.
