programming a micromaster 6 se 9212

Programming the MM is quite simple. If you are using MM3, then it would have a display on the front with all the parameters. Each micromaster comes with a simple getting started guide as well a CD containing some software and pdf manuals. You can get details of each parameter from the pdf manuals (available on the CD). If you did not get the CD, download the manual from www.ad.siemens.com/support -> Search for manuals of the MM series.

If you have MM4, then you would be required to purchase an additional module called Basic OP (BOP). From the BOP, you can program all the parameters, as required. By default, the MM4 comes with pre-configured setup for operation with digital inputs and outputs. The details are available in the booklet that comes with the packing.

With the MM4, siemens has standardised the parameter list in all their drives: Micromaster & Masterdrive. For any problems about parameterization, email to [email protected] with your question. If you need more information, you can email me off-list at [email protected]

By pressing the "P" key on the front panel, you reach to the parameters. Using the operating instructions, you can parameterize MM3.

If the P key does not work, then it must have been disabled using terminals. In this case remove all the connections on the terminals.
