We have two generators. When we use those two generators in synchronous mode, what is importance of control of KVA and KWA shearing?

There is synchronisation module installed which will check loading on generator and accordingly it shares the load between two generators. Should you want further tech info plz mail me on [email protected]

I assume you are referring to isynchronous load sharing. This is required so that both gen sets will control frequency as well as load. If you put both gen sets in droop control, they would load share but not control frequency. If both were in Isynchronous mode, both would control frequency, but one would end up taking all the load. One in isoch and one in droop would control load and frequency, but the droop machine's load would be fixed, requiring an operator to adjust it as the load adjusted.

I think your question is about contrlling sharing of KVA and KW load betwwen two gensets. is it ?? My opinion is that if the gensets are of identical rating (... I mean the alternators) then while in synchronisation they will share equally the active and the reactive part of the load. So in that case there will be no need of the KVA and KW sharing control. But in case they are not identical then it may be reqired to control the sharing betwwen two alternators. I hope you undrstood what I want to say .. ! : -) But still I will advice to check with somebody knowledgebale.. bye
