Here at our company we've been using the Siemens Logo! 12/24RC program module. The scan time for this unit is 50msec. Quite slow compared to higher end controllers.
The problem we encounter is once in a while a customer's machine will go berserk with no explanation. As soon as the program is re-loaded into the controller it functions normally. Cycling power has no effect.
Could the slow scan time be causing this due to the complexity of the program?
Has anyone ever experienced or heard of this phenomena? I have been in discussion with my rep and Siemens tech and they have no clue.
