I am looking for block diagram to communicate Honeywell DCS to A-B contrologix.

There are 2 or possibly 4 PLCs in field, which have to be linked to Honeywell Experion system.

Details of cards required, programming to be done, (on function Block logic or ST).

Dear,

Honeywell is very much compatible with the AB, if you have Plant Scape or Experion there are three options for this integration:

1 - Direct Driver
You can buy a license from Honeywell and you can communicate with the ControlLogix without any hardware or software.

2 - RSLinx OPC
For this you have to buy RSLinx and a license for this from Honeywell. Again, you don't need any other hardware or software.
You don't need any programming for this, you can pick this data via Quick Builder.

Hi Dear:

I have Experion and try to get data from AB SLC 5/04 through Ethernet. What type of communication card do I need in SLC 5/04? Can I use Prosoft MVI46-MNET?
