We must print the logic written with Modsoft 2.6.2.
I am able to boot up the program in a DOS window operating under Windows XP. However, I'm unable to print out the logic. Ideally, I would like to convert the logic printout to a PDF file.

Can someone help?

You can print to a file. You have to select Flat File as printer and Modsoft.out or whatever as the name of the file. You get a text file with the program. It's not very nice, but you can convert it to PDF and you have a usefull copy of the program.

Hi,

Do you have the UPF.exe at the Modsoft directory? That small program should help you to setup printer. The only restriction can be the following: you can select between ports LPT1, LPT2,..., com1, com2... There is no UPS port.
I use Win2000 and HPdeskjet690 Printing is OK.
The another solution is to "print" to the Modsoft.out text file and then copy to the Word...
Good luck.

In Modsoft, go to Tools, then Print and select your program. Go to Printer and select "Flat File (8.5x11)", and specify a .out file name (or keep default modsoft.out). Configure all other options as you need and then choose Start (F2) and QkPrnt or FullPrt.

Your .out file should be in your modsoft rooth folder (usually c:\modsoft) and is openable with any text editor. Not very good graphical look, but hope this help...

The graphical look of ladle sections is much more better, if you open the modsoft.out text file directly using "MS Word" without copying from Notepad.
