quatech ssp100 - twido

anybody knows how to configure the quatech ssp-100 pcmcia card to enable communication between my labtop and twido plc (telemecanique plc)?

I little more detail regarding what you are trying to achieve would be helpful. The Twido is Rs485, is the SSP?

Are you trying to connect with Twido software, or send/receive ASCII, Modbus coms, what?

Assuming you just want to connect to the program, why not use a standard Schneider serial (9 way 'D') or USB cable?

I know that the Twido is 485. And I am planning to use the Schneider db9 cable (part no. tsxpcx1031).
I am using the ssp100 because my laptop does not have a serial com port, and the ssp100 is a PCMCIA with serial port. But the problem is that I don't know how to configure the ssp100 to be able to communicate with the Twido.

Although I have read in this forum that one guy has used the ssp100 and was able to communicate successfuly with all Schneider equipment (Twido, Premium, Micro... etc.).

Can you help me regarding this matter?
