PCI20u Arcnet

Hi everybody;

I had installed a new Arcnet card PCI20U. With a TCI stopped I can see it with the command ARCWHO, but under a TCI started it tells in its LOG file that it can't connect to the ANETDEV.

Anybody know how to configure the config.dat TCI's file and if there's another file to touch?

to make it work, I had to define the network type in the config.dat TCI's file, and that's all.

What ARCnet card did you replace?

I don't think TCI uses CONFIG.DAT to configure the ARCnet card.

Have you looked at the TCI Control Panel Applet to see if the ARCnet
card is configured properly?

IDOS used to use F:\ARCNET.DAT to configure itself for the particular
type of ARCnet card being used, but I think TCI doesn't use that file
any more (even though it's still probably present on most HMIs).

Uh, TCI is only used on HMIs. If the originator stopped TCI, then the operator interface is an HMI.

Can the PCI20U/PCI20 Arcnet cards be used for <I> (have the PCI sockets)? Thanks.
