problem with OPC conection

Hello!

I have problem with connection between OPC Server -Client on my own machine(localhost).

In Opc Client I'm able to conect to OPC server but I can't see any grups and items that I sellected in OPC Server! What I need to do to get access to this Items in OPC Server?

1. My OS is win XP sp2
2. I've installed OPC Core Components
3. I've done all DCOM settings : I turned off Firewall and got full rights for everyone users.

What I done wrong...
please help

You need to describe the problem in a bit more detail, but it sounds like you still have DCOM issues.

If you can connect to the OPC Server, but the OPC Client can not read data (assuming you're using subscriptions), it means the DCOM permissions on the client are not correct.

1. Which client are you using to connect to OPC Server?
2. Are you doing the process of adding groups and items in the client?
3. Your client must be giving you some COM error code. Can you identify and tell me that?
4. Suggest you also post this question on http://www.opcfoundation.org/forums. This forum is frequented by OPC Gurus and is a better place for OPC related queries.
