Acceleration and Acceleration Envelope

In my installation, I have a piezoelectric accelerometer used to monitor vibration on a pump. This accelerometer is connected to Bently Nevada Dual Accelerometer monitor 3300/25 which measures the acceleration in g. On the other I have a SFK Mechanical Condition Detector which measures the vibrations in terms of Velocity (meters/second), Acceleration Enveloping (gE) and Temperature (Deg C).

I want to check the function of the accelerometer and the Bently Nevada monitor. Is it ok to compare the acceleration measured by Bently Nevada monitor (in g) with the value measured by the Mechanical Condition Detector (in gE)? If so, how do I convert the reading in gE to g?

3300/25 is monitor.

If you are not using b/n probe & proximitter & taking output from different make accelerometer, you have to modify your b/n 3300/25 monitor.

Today I came across the above problem. Output 135mv/IPS from vibrometer & I want to calibrate 3300-25 0 to 5 IPS pk. Connected precision power supply .477vrms, 50hz for full range. Connect - to com & + to in my monitor was modification done by b/n.

So check monitor modification no & input. If it is, contact b/n.
