I have a servo motor with gearbox reducer for a 3 tons load. The motor starts/stops every 30degrees.
The data for the motor is as following:
Manufacture MAVILOR
type MO 4500
NO 4471
Ncm 1270
V 220 V
A 21 A
RPM 3000
KW 4 KW
ICL F
Flange B
VDE 0530
IP 64
This motor is very old, and its drive is breaking down. We tried to replace the servo motor with AC motor pulse time built pulse cultch/break, but due to heavy load the body of clutch/break has high heat after running the system for a time. Also the load after running the system overcomes the load due to its inertia and did not stop in its position.
I want to put a AC servo motor, but I want to know if a servo motor will have same problem of high heat due to start/stop or not. Or if anyone has another soultion please send it to me.
