Yokogawa YS 170 controllers Programming

I need to use my YS 170 single loop programmable controller to implement a gap control function.
The problem is that I do not know how to develop a control script for this funtion. I will aprciate any body with experience with this to help out.

A script is not necessary as the gap control function is built in. Gap Width and Gap Gain can be tuned from the front panel display. The instruction manual is downloadable from Yokogawa's website.
