Can anyone explain whether Foxboro modules FBM214/218 will execute the HART command 44 (PV ranging) cmd 35 (unit code) & cmd 15 (read pv out info) in HART supported field device on configuring a AIN/AOUT block?
Sakram, this is again one thing that you should be asking Foxboro. Someone on this list _might_ know, but Foxboro surely does. If there is some reason why you don't want to ask them, you could always ask the HART foundation. They _might_ know, if they certified the device.
AIN/AOUT cannot be used directly with Hart. You must use RIN/ROUT, and then AIN/AOUT, if you really need them. Please refer to Hart Foxboro manual, to have details for configuring Hart commands you listed.
