We have a GE MS5001 machine with Speedtronic MarkV control system supplied by Thomesson. Six hydrocarbon leak detectors (weather housing type: 00780-A-0076, Sieger, Ltd. England) are installed in the machine, out of which four are calibrated for liquid fuel naptha (generally our GT will run with natural gas only), and the remaining two are calibrated for natural gas (20% LEL alarm and 60% LEL trip of GT). These sensors are disconnected with firefighting system PLC during the revamp of the PLC. Now we want to take into line two NG leak detectors, but we do not have a catalog or manual for the Sieger Limited type 00780-A-0076 three wire sensors. Can anybody please help us to get the details/specifications of the sensor like O/P voltage or ma range, and guide us how to check them before taking in to line?

i had already searched in Google about SIEGER LEAK DETECTORS but I could not find any specifications or catalogue of those sensors. I think Sieger company itself is not in existence.

It's very common for companies to buy each other and retain the assimilated company's product line name. I can't get back to the same page, but it seems Honeywell Analytics has a Sieger product line.

There is an 'Enquire Online' link in the upper right corner, and you can always send an email via 'Contact Us' with your inquiry.

Searching on the Internet means being creative with search terms; when at first you don't succeed, try, try again--with slightly different terms and word combinations (like 'Sieger Gas Detector' which was actually what Google recommended when I mis-type Seiger leak detector).

Too many people give up when their first (and only) attempt comes up with no good results.
