Model 2700 Automation Controller hardware fault

There is a steady red light on the Model 2700 Automation controller. According to the manual:

Hardware fault: A steady red light indicates that the internal watch dog timer has disabled the controller's CPU. If this occurs, the controller's outputs are also disabled. Try cycling the power, re-downloading your Quickstep program, or both. If the fault continues, your controller may have to be returned to Control Technology Corp. for repair.

Does anyone know how to "re-downloading your Quickstep program"?

In order to "re-download" your Quickstep program, you will need both the original quickstep program that was written for this controller, and the QuickStep programming software, which can be purchased through your local CTC distributor. You can find a local distributor here.

If you do not have a copy of the original program your best bet is to send the unit back to CTC for evaluation.
