UCVE card replacement in MarkVI

We have three MarkVI for our gas turbines. We have observed that one of the MarkVI "R" processors gets restarted/hangs frequently--once a day. So we tried first with replacing VCMI card but still the problem persists, so now we're trying to replace UCVE card. As per GE System VOl-1 guidelines, we need to format the flash disk and reprogramme (Set IP Address) using COM1 on the UCVE and Serial Loader application.

We are formatting the flash disk using flash disk reader from our HMI. While using Serial loader application on COM1, we get following message:
Command: Configure TCP/IP
Cycle Powe ON the target (; we power on the rack however is not mentioned in manual)
Error: Timed out waiting for login:
Command aborted with errors...

Please suggest the procedure to replace UCVE and then load flash programme and set up UCVE TCP/IP address.

The last time I had to do this we still used the. I got a text capture from it and hope it helps. I do pretty well, but at times some stuff it just foggy. The capture is long, as I cycled power several times.

You need the GE supplied small 9 pin serial cable.

Hi
Formatting the flash memory using card reader is not allowed at all and you never can use it for the second time. You have to prepare a new flash memory, install it and using serial loader cable change its IP. Cable and serial loader program are required.
