Hello,
I want your advice regarding the next issue :
-PC1 and PC2 in a factory network.
PC1 is running Windows 98se RsLinx Pro and RsView 32.
PC2 is running Windows XP( manager computer)
PC 1 is linked to AB SLC500 PLC.
I must show some tags from SLC500 in PC2 over the Ethernet network.(trends)
I used Remote OPC.
I have tested by replacing RsLinx Pro with RsLinx Gateway and is working very well.( RsLinx Pro will not answer to Remote OPC calls , it will answer only to local OPC calls )
Software used in PC2: IGSS Free 50
IGSS is working only if in PC1 I have a software that knows to answer to remote OPC calls .
The next challenge : I am not allowed to change RsLinx Pro to Gateway !
Do you have any ideea how to do that using only RsLinx Pro and free software?
PS: I know that Kepware has OPC Bridge but I am looking for a free solution.
