Text Messaging from SCADA PC

Does anybody know where I could get some VB etc. code that would run on NT/2000 etc. and simply send a text message to a phone or pager in the event of an alarm from a SCADA system.

I have used SCADAlarm but it is too elaborate (and hence expensive) for what I require..

Why don't you look at Unitronics OPLC line. Their seem to be very knowledgeable in the SMS/GSM area, very low cost also.
