Has anyone ever made or known someone that has made a Motion Controller with a pic and an LM628 or lm629?

I really am interested in the programming sequence the pic must take to initialize the LM628-629 motion processor. Any help would be much appreciated.

Not sure about the pic, but Animatics used to have a unit with the LM628 or LM629. It's been many years and I can't remember which one for sure.

I have a LM629 card (ISA) that I built. I also have developed some QBASIC and C programs for this. Do you have to use a PIC? A 486 or Pentium 100Mhz works well with this card. Email me if this project is still living.
