what is the physical level difference between
Unbalanced and balanced transmission using iec 60870-5-101.

ie what are the different features existing in
unbalanced and balanced transmission in the physical layer when iec 60870-5-101 protocol is used for the communication.

 

Balanced transmission is more synchronous transmission, where as un-balanced is more suited for multi-drop kind of scenarios.
