I'm a masters student and I'm at my thesis term. My thesis issue is industrial data communication and fault tracking using SCADA. Now I must find a demo version of scada software, not run time. For example Wiscon 7.61 or teos. THANKS FOR ALL UR HELP...

GOOD LUCK ON UR BUSINESS...

I think that you can get a free demo version of Siemens' HMI WinCC somewhere at http://www.siemens.com/wincc (I at least got a free evaluation version on CD via ordinary mail a couple of years ago)

Try searching for GE's Cimplicity HMI software too - I think that there is a free evaluation version of that one too (or I guess it's the same version as the full one - but it's limited without the proper license key)

I can suggest Citect Scada system. It is easy to develop an application with a lot of preconfiguration done in a example project. There is minimal cost involved in small systems, and you can develop your engineering application initially with the full software without any outlay. The software requires that you purchase a licence to run in real time. But all development and some testing can be done with the downloadable version available at http://www.citect.com.

Hi,

Feel free to download a full free version of FrontVue at http://www.pcvueinc.com. It will work withoud any limitation for 30 days after the installation. We can also extend your trial period if you need to.

Best regards,
Olivier

GE Fanuc's CIMPLICITY ME or PE are provided as a demo CD. After installation you have a full unlimited 4-day license. After 4 days CIMPLICITY PE ends after 2 hours and no server-client functionality is working. But you can edit your project.

A Demo-project is on the CD too.
CIMPLICITY ME is an economic solution machine oriented, CIMPLICITY PE is plantwide oriented and mor powerfull.

Afcon's SCADA has a free download version of P-CIM.
I know of more then a few students that used it in Latin America for the same need you have.
They had a good expiriance with it.

InTouch, Citect and WinCC all run in demo mode if you don’t have the necessary licences/dongles, InTouch limits the number of tags you can process, Citect shuts down the runtime every ten minutes and I am not sure what WinCC does, I only know that I have started it up by accident previously with no license loaded and it runs.
