Redundancy in Wonderware
i would like to know if Wonderware V.7 support also for redundancy?

i would like to know if Wonderware V.7 support also for redundancy? i have 4 client workstation, active & backup server, which all use redundant TCP/IP, is Wonderware V.7 available for those configuration?? please advise

Wonderware V 7.x has a mechanism for implementing backup. The mechanism has to be implemented in scripts.

The all stations connected to the runtime server monitor the runtime server by reading a continually changing tag (ie. Seconds). When the tag stops changing the stations change the node name field in the access names read from the failed server.

BTW, make sure that all tags read from the server exists in the server database.
