Control.com - Nerds in Control

Does anyone know of or have a general glossary of Instrumentation and Controls terms, that would define such items as PLC, DCS, HMI, etc.?

Not sure what you want. The above names are acronyms. Have never seen a glossary for 1. Programmable Logic Controller, 2. Distributed Control System, or 3. Human Machine Interface.

Be specific.

PID - Proportional, Integral, Derivative.
PV - Process Variable
SP - Set Point
CV - Control Variable
FB - Feedback

ISA has an Automation, Systems, and Instrumentation Dictionary that might fill the bill.
