i am trying to implement a DCS using 89c51 and a pc. i can't understand how to do the communication of pc with a microcontroller. can somebody help me? i am new in these things so i need a lot of help. i am thinking to use vb for visual interfacing and C for data receiving and sending to the controller through serial port.
