I'm working on a research project and need to find documentation for an early version of FactoryLink from US Data, preferably from before 1988. If anyone has a copy or knows where I might find one, please let me know. Thanks...

I did a lot of work with FactoryLink DOS about that time. I wrote a number of custom serial drivers for customers, so I became very familiar with DesqView, DOS PC's and FactoryLink application toolkit and Compiled math & logic.
If you're still searching let me know.........

A member posted a request back in 2005/06 for FactoryLink (FL) for DOS documentation. I wonder if he found them, as that is what I need now.
-Would be grateful to connect with someone on this.
Thanks

Hi,
I have a multiplatform manual for FactoryLink 4.1.4 which includes DOS details. May also have documentation for version 4.3 and 4.4 but would need to dig deeper to confirm this.
What are you looking for?

Hi, you may be able to help me!
I have a SCADA package that is running on DOS. There is a driver disk for an old SST DH+ card that purports to be a FactoryLink driver. I just need a positive ID on whether or not the package is running FactoryLink. Project is to replace with new SCADA product (Rockwell/COPA DATA).
Any help gratefully received!

Laurence,
The DOS Factory Link implementations I have worked with in the past used DesqView as the windowing manager, so if your application loads DesqView it's very probably Factory Link.
If not, I can't say. Drop a line if you need more.
