Are you able to upgrade to Intouch 8? From memory, some functions may require two step approach to get to version 9.
You will have to upgrade it to V8 first.
After installing Version 9.0, open the Application Manager, goto menu Tools --> Find Applications... and browse to your InTouch application. It is automatically converted to version 9.0. This cannot be undone, so it is wise to have a backup of your old application.
We even converted a 5.6b application to 9.0 in one step.

I already had problems with wonderware 9.0 and i called Christoph Joubert at this number: 450-681-5900. He is an intouch's technician fron Cimsoft.
Explain him which kind of network you have and problems you get and he will help you.
Please give me some news about your problem.
Have a good day
