In mode details:
VLnet uses thinnet cable. The Vnet uses the thicknet cable. To convert
between the two, you require a simple 10base2 to 10base5 adaptor. The
underlying protocol is the same Vnet.
1. Centum CS uses Vnet.
2. Centum CS1000 uses the VLnet.
3. Centum CS3000 uses a combination of both: Operator stations and
engineering station uses VLnet, and the Controllers (FCS) uses the vnet.
Yokogawa introducted a new network, combibing the Vnet+TCP/IP, and call it
Vnet/IP, which operates at 1 Gbps (Vnet was 10Mbps).
