I am an electrical engineer & want to learn SAP. I am not aware of SAP, so I want to know what is SAP? I need brief description regarding SAP. Also I want to know which are the good training centres for SAP in Pune or in Banglore? What is the scope of SAP? How long is the course duration of SAP?

SAP is an MRP/ERP system from SAP AG. It is a combination programming language (ABAP), set of application modules, and database. Basically, it is a software package that runs your entire business (finance, ordering, inventory, sales, scheduling, etc.). Individual installations generally require extensive customisation and require a large team of consultants (and often takes a year or more).

You really need to be a professional software developer with business software experience to be involved in this. If you are still interested in SAP, consider getting involved in interfacing it to shop floor equipment.

I am a HR professional, can you please let me know, can I do the Sap training.

Should we go for local institute or a branded one?
