I am trying to communicate Emerson 2350A GC controller with SCADA, Daniel flow computer, OMNI 6000 flow computer and instromet model m2000 flow computer.

Actually there are 8 com ports with GC. Whenever I connect with SCADA it is communicating but can't read value of Modbus registers of assigned Streams.

Please give me any suggestion if any.

Stupid question, have you set up the registers in the 2350? Using the mon software, supplied with the 2350, you need to set up which GC components are assigned to which registers. Remember if you are attempting to transmit floating point values you will need to assign 2 consequetive registers to each component.

 

I don't know if this will help or not but... I had a site where I was told everything was setup as RS-232 but in fact the default jumper settings were for RS-485 on the Daniels 2350 controller I was working with. My experience says to double check the hardware settings for the appropriate protocol first.
