I wrote a series of 3 articles that (will) appear in circuit cellar. In December 2006 there was an article on using the serial port with VB2005
(http://www.circuitcellar.com/magazine/197toc.htm)
The next two articles are on creating a Modbus interface on the PC using VB2005 (and Microsoft Excel). The first part appears this month (March 2007) and the second part will appear next month.

Hello Priya,
I can help you, but let me know about your level in this field.
Because if you don't know about simple communication then you should learn basics of MSComm Control.
For your information every hardware has different protocols.
If you want to learn more in this field mail me on mayur at vbsoftindia dot com

Mayur
