Project using LM35, ADC0804, LCD in Assembly
Sensor technologies. topic
Posted by Rosicky on 22 March, 2007 - 12:43 am
Hi all,

I'm doing a project on Atmel microcontroller.

The aim of the project is to sense the ambient temperature using LM35, digitize the data using ADC0804 and then display the temperature on an LCD. When the temperature exceeds a certain threshold display the message.

Components used are:
LM35 (temperature sensor)
ADC0804
At89c51 (microcontroller)
LCD
8051 assembly language

I have written the source code in assembly language. I want to check it out. My e mail ID is rosickyman @ gmail. com. Looking forward to your reply soon.

Thank you.

Sir,

I am also doing the same project. If you have gathered the information on this project, please forward to me as soon as possible all the reports and circuit diagrams. If I find any information I will forward to you.

Hey,

I too need the diagram. I'm working on the same project and I hit some bumps, really need some help here.

Please let me know if you can help me.

Hey,
I am doing the same project but instead of using LM 35 as my sensor i am using a thermistor on a wheat stone bridge then interfaced to a ADC 0804 which is then interfaced to an EPROM and finally the eprom is interfaced to a 7 segment decorder leading a display ton the 7 segment >
my problem

1) is that i need to scale the output voltage of the bridge so that it displays temprature rather than its equivalent voltage

2) i want to measure the temperature of human body so i need to display so i would like to know whether LM35 would be a good sensor or not
as i am using a very sesitive thermistor which doesnot show linear change

Please let me know if you can help me.

Hi all,

I am doing the same project but added new feature. It saves the data in PC and sends sms if temp. lowers than 28 degree and increses above 40 degree. If anyone is having data related this then please send me the data at rohan_arya@yahoo.co.in by 30th Nov 2007.
