Can I connect Magelis HMI panel to GE Fanuc PLC (Series 90-30, VersaMax, RX3i) via Ethernet? Is it possible (GE Fanuc doesn't support Modbus TCP)?

Do I need any additional drivers for Vijeo Designer? Where can I get them?

I hate to tell you but I think it's 100% possible!!

I think that using an Ethernet Interface TCP/IP Module (PN: IC693CMM321) at PLC side you will read the PLC's data from any HMI or software able to support Modbus TCP/IP.

If your GE Fanuc 90-30 is old, you must upgrade its firware in order to use CMM321. The firmware last version is 8.x and its part number is 44A731232-G16 (CPU331 Upgrade Kit latest revision).

But what should I do with VersaMax that has an integrated Ethernet port and doesn't support MODBUS TCP?

I don't understand why MAGELIS supports all other PLCs but doesn't support GE FANUC
