We're dealing with some changes in our Rockwell network. Is there a converter for ControlNet to TCP/IP?
If you have a ControlLogix rack with Controlnet, then adding a 1756-ENET card will allow you to have access data via TCP/IP.
or
If you have a ControlLogix rack with Ethernet, then adding a 1756-1756-CNBR card will allow you to have access data via Controlnet.
I think that the cheapest way to solve your problem would be to get a gateway. I also believe that the gateway solution will require a minimum amount of work. There are several suppliers out there. I have only experience with the Anybus X-gateway.
