In the near future we intend to perform a physical overspeed test on a GE Frame 5 model LA Gas Turbine. We currently have an after market PLC based controls system (Allen Bradley Logix 5000). Does any one have any experience with this or have any resources for information about doing this test?

 

I have some experience with real overspeed tests, but not on GE turbine and not AB Logix 5000 but GT by ABB and Egatrol Controls by AAB.

What info do you need, what is your configuration, what are the trip set points?
