Devicenet network setup

Hi all,

I'm currently building my first Devicenet network. I'll be using an Omron CS1G controller with a DRM21 master card as the network master.

My question is, once I've physically connected the network, what's next?

Will the Master card take over, or will I need to setup the network with software?

All advice appreciated and apologies if my question is a little basic.

Regards,
Joseph

You will need CX Integrator to set up your network consisting of your CS1 Master and other Devicenet nodes.

While the power is off set the node numbers on the physical units and in the software.

Download this file to the Devicenet Master (CS1-DRM..)

This is all explained in the Omron CS1-DRM manual.
