How to connect HSC to absolute encoder
PLCs and related questions. topic
Posted by Auto on 2 November, 2007 - 5:15 pm
This’s my first time to connect Encoder to HSC card. I use Panasonic PLC FP2 series and HSC FP2-HSCT NPN Output. I have an old absolute encoder from tr-electronic company CE65M. I have a hint to make right combination between HSC type and encoder output type.

So in the first I want to know information about absolute encoder for operation And its pin which I should connect it or neglect. what's the benefit of clock+ And clock- and what happen if I did not connect it and so on.

Encoder is fixed on rotary part and must stop for 6 station how I configure That with PLC to stop the machine for 6 step” for fixed distance and none fixed Distance".

what difference between absolute and incremental encoder.
