How can I connect PCS 7 controllers and Triconex PLCs? I need reliable communication with redundancy and response time under 1sec. Eventually I would like to see Sequnece of events in my PCS 7 Operator station.
I suggest you implement OPC alarm & events from matrikon which they had connectivity software between Triconex PLC and DCS like Yokogawa CS3000. I guess PCS should support OPC via Ethernet to external devices. You can implement redudancy with Matrikon server for Alarm/Events too. Check it out with your local Matrikon distributor which they would very much like to assist you.
