SMS to DNP3/Modbus/OPC Data Converter
Communications systems and equipment. topic
Posted by Glen Downie on 21 November, 2007 - 1:42 am
Hello,

Could anyone advise if they have had experience with, or developed any products that have the ability to convert data contained in SMS text messages to DNP3/Modbus or OPC Data types/protocols?

Ultimately I would like a software solution, negating the need for an RTU to perform protocol conversion.

Any information/direction would be appreciated.

Regards,

Glen

Look at the similar situation covered as 'string variables in Modbus' in this thread:
