HMI and modbus protocol
Human-Machine Interface and SCADA. topic

I'm using c8051f020 microcontroller.
I'm planning to use HMI touch screen.
Can you guide me how to connect the HMI touch screen to microcontroller using Modbus protocol?
I want to use ASCII format and 485 communication.
Please mention the required documents from which I can get the information.

If the HMI Touch Screen is PC Based (Embeded XP) then you could use Kepware's OPC Server with Modbus Driver Suite to connect to the Microcontroller and serve data back to the HMI.
