Reading of Array point data from AB PLC
PLCs and related questions. topic
Posted by haris chaudhary on 12 December, 2007 - 12:36 am
I am facing some problem related to Array point configurations. The serial data is coming through serial interface card in HPM. There are 2 AB PLCs from which data is coming. I configured Array point as per Modbus address. I am reading Flag status and Numerics through these arrays. The problem is that Flag status is ok, but regarding numerics status it is not showing the correct value. For example, in one field I read some Pressure inputs as 23 bar but on DCS I received its integer value like 16788. Can you guide me how to change this value in DCS? Please give comments on the problem from DCS side or PLC. Waiting for your prompt and positive response.
