I have two PM864 ABB processors module configured as Redundant, the communication used is PROFIBUS DP with CI854A fieldbus communication interface my issue is that the DCS always shows the 16#40000000 error message I looked for the error Handling and I found that indicate A hardware failure has been detected on the 'primary unit'.

Could anyone help me how to fix it or to give me a guidlines.

Hi Ben

You're right, i think your primary unit had blown so secondary take over the work. you must re-check how can primary unit done.

we could see online help in Control Builder, like i did then i got explanation like this :

Switchover has occurred (16#000E0000/16#40000000) - Switchover has occurred, i.e. the CPU that used to execute as Backup CPU is now executing as the Primary CPU.
