Bailey ALSPA-ZS communication to HMI
Communications systems and equipment. topic
Posted by Benno Duller on 19 December, 2007 - 11:12 pm
I am quite new in this area, so please keep your replies simple.

A customer of ours is running a Bailey ALSPA-ZS to run his process. I have Googled the Web, but there is very minimal information out there regarding this ALSPA-ZS.

The customer claims that communication with this DCS is extremely difficult due to proprietary protocols, etc. We are looking to put a SCADA package on top of the DCS, but the question is how can we get data from the ALSPA?

Does anyone have experience with this?

Thanks in advance!

Benno

You could try emailing Yokogawa France who took over Controle Bailey who sold the Cegelec PLC as ALSPA-ZS. Their email is info@fr.yokogawa.com. I am not sure what services are available but they might point you in the right direction.
