Hello,
I am 3rd year student in electrical engineering.
What is the scope of PLCs and what is PLC's future aspect?

1. More of the same.

2. Cost going down.

3. Better and faster and mor open comm options.

4. Would not be surprised to see a merging of the PC and PLC world at some point to be real common, but probably not with any current version of windows.
