Interfacing LCD with PIC16F690Hello.
I have LAMPEX LCD interfaced with PIC16F690.
I want to pass a string to display using DB,DT Directives. But when i initilize the string at perticular address to store in program memory,It converts into garbage value & I am not getting the string on LCD. But if I pass the string using RETLW instr. It works
Pls help.

Was PIC16F690 manufactured by Microchip?
