Communications topic

I have a problem of how to get the communication between Twido (using the macro) and the ATV31.
1) How and what to at the ATV31
2) The address %sw63 at Twido has the value of 5, so how to process?

Thanks.

I assume you are talking Modbus RTU. %SW63 = 5 means time out, so I guess you have no coms.

A copy of your archived Twidosuite project would be useful.

Check parity, baud rate, stop bits, data bits are correct on Twido and ATV31.

Is drive set up correctly for Modbus coms, have you configured its Modbus address?

I may be able to send you some information to help you. You can email me at 'dweebyone @ yahoo. com'

I suugest you use Twidosuite V2.01 available from telemecanique.com
