MarkV hard disc back upDuring HMI hard disc back up,back up process stops with the message " Error 1805 occurred while running the script". This is using Ge's back up utility programme and back up restore floppy. Can you figure out this message. Tried with another floppy. Also reinstalled utility programme. Checked hard disk for errors. No errors.
Mundodiyil,
In our experience with backup issues, this error can mean that there are some errors on the drive. You have to disable the "NetworkX" device and the "Crypkey" license service before running the chkdsk /r. I would also recommend downloading and installing the latest version of the Backup and Restore software from our download site. Just paste the link below in your web browser to download the software.

You will need to download the zip file to your desktop, unzip the files to a cd, and then run the install.bat file on the HMI you wish to update. If you want to make a full back of a system, make sure you create a new backup and restore floppy disk using the new version of the software. You also need to make sure that the check disk process completes successfully before making any backup. If you have further questions after trying these steps, please email us at support@ccs-inc.com.

This is good advice; CCS is the prime supplier of HMIs for GE and their packagers.
Thank you.
I had tried all the options and found working in only one HMI. Finally CD drives of the other HMIs were replaced and then we could take back up.
Thank you once again.
