TSX FPP20 card driver problems on WinXPI had to replace a SCADA PC for one of my clients because they wanted to standardize their installed hardware and software.
The problem was that the original suggested FPP20 solution could not be made to work, even after intensive consultation with Schneider's tech support. I was told to wait for this USB interface. It came without any software, so I had to download a new driver pack from the web site.
The driver selftest worked, no problem. But now I have to connect the OFS opc server software and the new driver. The new driver (USBFIP) is not available in the drop down list when setting up an alias for the PLC. I tried to use OTHER to see if it would accept this. That appeared to work but when I started the OFC server, it gives an error message like: ..VP: can not find network connection. Is a software update available or do I now have to buy a new version of the OFC software? Has anyone used the TSXCUSBFIP with the OFS software? I need help!
