I am planning to take a PE in control systems this year. I really need to understand about pressure and diff. pressure transmitter calibration procedure.

I suggest you go to the ISA website (isa.org). They have a number of self help books on the subject. A couple of references would be "Flow
Measurement Engineering Handbook" by R.W. Miller (McGraw-Hill), or a similar title by David Spitzer.
