We are using Mark-II control system at one of our frame 5 gas turbine. A Fault LED on the SGDD ground Detector Card is appearing. This card is installed on the 1L card page position 0T.

As per test procedure written Mark-II Control Book, we have checked the voltage from GND to ACOM points available on the front of the card and found 9VDC. If voltage between GND and ACOM are greater than 1.5VDC then ground is on P12, P28 or 5.3 V buses as per mentioed procedure.

To isolate the ground, all interfaces installed on the IL page like (LCTB1 RECP0A/0B/0C/0D, ANN SLOT STU, RECPD123, RELAY PAGE SLOT 7U T) were removed but the ground fault LED did not disappear. It shows that the ground of P12, P28 or 5.3 V is on 1L page.

Turbine is in service. Please tell us how to isolate / rectify this ground fault. What may go wrong to keep the gas turbine in service with this ground fault?
